Environmental Product Declarations

At Technical Glass Products (TGP), we are committed to providing transparency about the environmental impact of our products. Our Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) offer a verified, science-based report detailing the lifecycle environmental performance of our fire-rated glazing and framing systems. Fully compliant with LEED v5, these EPDs disclose a product’s complete sustainability story in a single, comprehensive report. This information enables us to better inform buyers and specifiers of the cradle-to-gate impact of our glazing assemblies.

What is an EPD?

An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is an independently verified and registered document that communicates transparent, comparable information about the environmental impact of a product throughout its lifecycle.

EPDs are developed in accordance with international standards, such as ISO 14025 and EN 15804, and include data on key impact categories, such as:

  • Global warming potential
  • Energy use and resource consumption
  • Emissions to air, water and soil
  • Waste generation and recyclability

Why EPDs Matter

By providing clear environmental data, EPDs help architects, specifiers, and building owners make informed, sustainable choices. EPDs also support compliance with green building programs such as LEED® and BREEAM®, contributing to credits for transparency and material disclosure.
