Rather than utilizing bulky, bent hollow metal steel, the Designer Series incorporates narrow, extruded steel profiles. The resulting framing system exceeds traditional fire-rated framing systems in aesthetics and performance. Available with fire ratings from 20 to 90 minutes, the Designer Series can incorporate a wide range of fire-rated glazing materials with glass sizes that surpass traditional systems.
The doors and frames are listed with Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.® for areas requiring 20/45/60/90-minute fire ratings. Fabricated in the United States, the doors and frames can be used with diverse glazing materials, including the FireLite® family of fire-rated glass, as well as other products.
