General Description:
SUMMARY: Under general direction assist in the management of the TGP Territory Manager territories. While their responsibilities will vary and increase, the primary goal of managing sales territories is accomplished through the following tasks:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (which are not in any hierarchical order) Assist in answering inbound phone calls. If call is project specific forward call to appropriate TM that is managing the project Sort and manage glass and assembly opportunities in CRM and engage in follow-up. (The opportunity value will be determined by each TM.) Respond to online quote requests, CAD drawings requests and general information requests. All correspondence will include a copy to the appropriate TM. Assist in maintenance of CRM opportunities and quotes. This is accomplished by keeping odds, closing dates and contacts current under the opportunities, as well as attaching quotes to the opportunities (either existing, or opportunities generated by the SA) Assists as needed with technical sales support to customers. When TM?s are out of the office the SA will work managing the corresponding territory. Will be required to give architectural presentation and travel to their respective sales territories as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS: Knowledge of the products and technology associated with glass, fire-rated glazing, framing systems and commercial construction industries Knowledge of the principals and practice of product development, promotion and associated reports and plans Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously for self and other team members Ability to work independently and make effective decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Skill in providing superior customer service. Skill in using computer application software used in generating quotes, bids, proposals and orders Skill in both verbal and written communication Skill in designing and making professional presentations to large groups and one-on-one Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work Strong team orientation, attention to detail, flexibility and initiative
Work experience requirements:
Six years of sales, customer service or marketing experience preferably in commercial construction or related industries. Ability to travel as needed.
